I know its been a hot minute but i’ve been one BUSY gal ! I’ve spent the last few months exploring south east Asia and i’m going to get into that over the next few blog posts so be sure to subscribe so that you don’t miss any of that! 🙂
Anyway, I guess I should start at the beginning ? it wouldn’t make much sense to start at the end.
We left Scotland the land of the wild haggis and kilts on the 20th of June 2018 and made our way to Thailand now, I have to say that we’ve been to Thailand before and really this time it was kind of just our entry and exit point of south east Asia, HOWEVER in good travelling fashion we decided to make the most of our time here so heres what we got up to. One of the things I really wanted to do while in Bangkok was go to a sky bar and LET ME TELL YA it did not disappoint i kind of felt like i was in a HD movie because everything looked surreal and almost not real we went to a sky bar called above 11 i would 10/10 recommend and the photo of me there was taken at the sky bar so you get a little snippet of what the view is like. The second thing we did with our time in Thailand (while being extremely jet lagged) was visit one of the temples i’d love to tell you what one it was however we just kind of stumbled upon it and id hate to give you wrong info.
It had some of the most amazing architecture i’ve ever seen in my life but it was incredibly busy and a real tourist attraction. If you are going to Thailand and plan on visiting the temples be sure to wear something appropriate or you will be caught out like i was upon entry and have to wear what the shops beside the temple are selling for ridiculous prices.
If you haven’t done so yet you can also check out my youtube video on the whole experience and you can be the judge of who’s outfit was better at the temple ! 🙂
